Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a sobering condition present in 34% of diabetes patients, with a recurrence rate of 40%. DFU can be correlated as Dushta Vrana described by Acharya Sushruta. DFUs are more prone to infection. A 56-years-old diabetic patient with non-healing ulcer in right foot was treated with an integrative therapy. Vrana Prakshalana with Gomutra, sharp debridement, daily dressing with Jatyadi Taila, Manjishtadi Kshara Basti, Manjishtadi Lepa, Pranayama, charted wholesome diet and internal medications were incorporated. By the 35th day of treatment, formation of healthy granulation and epithelialisation, decrease in discharge and improvement in blood sugar were noticed. Vrana Shodhana, Ropana, Sophahara, Pramehahara properties of the interventions were used hence which led into ulcer healing. Thus, an integrated approach is necessary to heal a multi-system involving disease like DFU.
