India has emerged as a global leader in advancing collaborative and integrative healthcare that bridges Ayurveda and contemporary biomedicine. Since the establishment of the Ministry of Ayush in 2014, significant progress has occurred through strategic policy reforms, multidisciplinary research collaborations, implementation of standardized clinical models, and development of digital health ecosystems. This article synthesizes evidence from government policy documents, peer-reviewed literature, and verified public sources to describe implemented integrative initiatives, highlight clinical and research outcomes, and outline future pathways aligned with Universal Health Coverage (UHC), evidence-informed practice, and global health security.
