The increasing burden of chronic diseases and rising healthcare costs necessitate holistic and sustainable healthcare strategies. Integrative healthcare, which combines conventional medicine with evidence-based traditional systems, offers a collaborative and patient-centered model of care. Ayurveda, with its preventive orientation and personalized therapeutic principles, presents significant potential within this framework. This manuscript examines the evolving role of Ayurveda in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, research innovation, policy support, and educational reform. Challenges and future directions for systematic integration are also discussed. Strengthened scientific validation and interdisciplinary collaboration may position Ayurveda as a globally recognized contributor to integrative healthcare.
